About National Cadet Corps (NCC) Unit
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is the youth wing of the Indian Armed Forces. Established in 1948, it aims to develop character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure, and ideals of selfless service among young citizens.

Types of NCC Certificates
NCC 'A' Certificate
For Junior Division/Wing cadets upon completing 2 years of training in classes 9th and 10th.
NCC 'B' Certificate
For Senior Division/Wing college cadets upon completing 2 years of active training.
NCC 'C' Certificate
Highest level certificate for 3-year trained senior cadets. Grants direct entry into Armed Forces SSB interviews without written entrance test.
